Intimate Affair in Goldust + florals

Watch out gals your backyard wedding is about to get dainty!

There is something magical to wearing floral especially with a hint of pixie dust. Not the fairy pixie dust, but the classy hints of gold sparkle throughout your wedding. Gold tones can be a little overbearing for a simple chic bride, but a pinch of gold accents make this collection simply magical.  Pack the dainty in your bridal party with dazzling sensible shoes perfectly paired with these spring inspired floral bridesmaid dresses. You can play up each brides gal's pizzazz with classy dues and sparkling earing's. This collection is perfect for an intimate affair, garden wedding... who am I kidding this collection fits well in any type of venue. Classy is after all befitting for every gals event. This is one of my favorite bridal boards, has it made top of your list too?
Doesn't this collection make you feel happy you are a gal? I'd love to know what other combinations you would like to see come together. I'd love to make it happen for you. Simply let me know in you comments below.

Gold dust + teal

I feel the urge to indulge in dainty florals and pretty relaxed glam. I'm not speaking of enjoying flowers in my salad while in my pretty pajamas. I'm speaking of my latest crush of the week, the fabulous color inspiration...

GOLD DUST + TEAL

It is every bit personal with floral hints in fashion, pretty accessories, dainty personalized gifts, on pretty elements of nature. What is a wedding without a little floral touch? Not cute enough if you ask me.....Well it wouldn't be as fun nor as pretty as the mixture of florals, wood grain and burlap cuteness. All these elements compliment each other very nicely. This inspiration is a beautiful and classy alternative way to add flowers to your wedding and to treat your guests to a floral touch of personality. That's my take on todays crush. How do you feel about Goldust + Teal. Does it wow you? Lets us know your thoughts in the comments below.

A pretty collection for a pretty lady.
                 Gals enjoy!

Organized table top sorter

Task Organizer

There are many reinventions happening around the office this month. Its been a month of renovation and rejuvenating. (aka Painting) Walls have changed their hues, items have shifted and furniture has been ordered. Big changes happening around here. New desk, paper sorting and new organization systems are being put in place. I will give you low down on that in a later post. For now I have an organization "tid bit" to share with you.

An eyesore

I'm just excited to be creative in my new space. Even in the midst of paint fumes and shifted paperwork I managed to get my desk in working order. It's not close to where it needs to be but it will do for now.

The first challenge of my new space was the lack of space. Due to my cozy desk I had to re-think my organization, ease of use, and recycling needs. So I trashed many unecessaries and I placed my pens, stapler, and general items on my desk for easy reach. Then it stared at me! My first eyesore challenge, my desktop paper sorter. YUCK!

I dub it "my horrible". It actually is a monitor stool but I seldom use things for what they are. Anyway, this sorter worked before but I didn't see its ugly face since it was behind my phone, but now it stares at me from behind my monitor. This ugly thing isn't making me happy. So I turned to Pinterest, like the pinterest junkie that I am, to find a pretty solution. I found this really pretty sorter. Well it isn't a sorter. It is a Magazine holder with vertical file folders. Here is the pinspiration and the answer to my ugly sorting problem.

This project turned out great thank you to Pinterest. Well, Before you, Pin With Us!

Check out the "Pin"spiration to the left. This picture was pinned by Emily Howey and you can find it in her Filling Board. Isn't it creative? In this picture the filing system was created by using a cardboard box. I thought about it, but I really just need my storage box now and time wasn't something I wanted to spend in recreating this system. So I came up with a solution.

Here's how ...

My shopping list consisted of a pretty magazine holder as well as folders to create separation. I scurried to Target (they always have pretty things there) to find my magazine holder. As I was looking for any standard folder to be used as labeled separators, I found these..
Vertical backpack folders? Wow Target, Right on cue! What can I say Awesome little things excite me.

There was no need to modify these in any way. Touchdown! OK well, I still modified them. What can I say its my nature.
Minor adjustment, small sticky notes to label the tabs and done. I can change out the sticky notes depending on my storing needs. That's it! No biggie.

What do you think? Was this an improvement? Could you use one of these on your desk? I hope so because it works like a charm and it's oh so pretty. Let me know what you think? I'm always open to constructive criticism or plane old love.
Keep it simple, keep it creative, keep it real..fun!
                                      Best Regards, Cisne

Organized mess

Notes of Encourage

Having a piled on, over filled and stuffed into organization system that is one hot mess? Many of us are or may have been, at one point in our lives, a hot mess. I, for one, refuse to return to that!  Continuously strive to maintain an orderly, organized, separated and (god help us) labeled organized mess. Being an organized mess and leaving the "ugh's" behind and replacing them with "ooh nice" and "hi fives" is well worth it.

Practice....Practice....Practice

Being an organized mess isn't easy though, it takes practice. Especially when this organization requires that all those bulky, too many but need all of them kind of items find their way into bins, drawers, and possible trash spots. Although the idea of selling, gifting or plain old trashing items may pose somewhat of a psychological challenge it may hinder our ability to succeed with our overall goal and view of ourselves. Sounds intense? Not to worry you aren't doing it alone. This journey is a liberating step that will help you grow wings and find your pride. Organization isn't an overnight process and it takes practice. By tackling one eyesore at a time we too can be an organized mess.

One small stride for organization, one large step for liberation. Together we will Craft it so!

Style Greecian

We all enjoy comfortably soft and pretty fabrics. This gals style is all that and the elegance of natural beauty. More excitingly is being oh so stylish on your wedding day.Grecian style has surpassed the revenge of the nerd era with their classic toga wear. A classic attire in the college years, thank goodness, Not anymore! I invite you to shed the old tired ideals and graduate to the profound look of the 20th Century Grecian Goddess.
The Goddess you were meant to be.

sophisticated, honor, strength. . and elegance from within.

The bridal headpieces and Milk glass bridal cuff are the perfect finishing pieces to this one shoulder organic bridal gown. This bridal style is a beautiful fusion of nature and love. Mind you this selection is for the brave as the Grecian women themselves that uphold its beauty. A great selection for personal wedding with close friends and family.

This look is effortlessly elegant and one of my very favorites.
Don't you just love it?

NEW Perspective

Each New Year inspires a new perspective and if you're like me you are excited to make waves in 2013.
I'm personally looking forward to purchasing a NEW Microsoft Surface as well as sketching up some fun invitations, and spending time with friends and family. Most of all, I can't wait to live the moments that will take my breath away. The best part of these moments is that we can record them or snap a shot for our albums. Yay, I love technology! These are a few shots I would love in my photoalbum. I came across these great photos when I opened my Pinterest of the week e-mail today. I was quickly captivated by Alison Vandehei's photography of couples board. The photography is beautiful and I had to give kuddos to the photographers and their great eye for fun photos. Don't worry "Kuddos" is a good thing. Two thumbs way up in my book.

Flagged

I want to be flagged for some good Lovin like this couple. This is a great picture of simple yet fun elements that make you want to say aww! I find this pose a necessity in any great photo album. Photograph by: Dainty Blue
A simple, I love this photo wouldn't do. I was intrigued Sooo....I had to do a little digging up of the fabulous photographer of this creative shot. Her name is Maritza and when you visit her site you get the overall feel of her lens insight; clean, authentic and filled with the hearts song. Not only does she say so herself, I completely agree! Her work is fabulous and she has a great eye for natural feelings as they are reflected in her shots. There you have it if you are in search of a great photographer feel free to say hello to Maritza, I'm sure she will love to accommodate your every photography needs.

Hearts Song

As I continued "paroozing" Alison Vandehei's couple photography board I came across another photo that I love for its element of fun and the diverse ways you can use this photo taken by Big Bang photography.

I realize this is not a typical couple photo and this is the reason why I loved it. One look at this photo and my mind runs wild with many ways to use this photo; engagement announcement, Save the dates or as a daily reminder of love to be taped on your loved ones windshield. These are only a few ways that you can use this photo, but I'm sure there are tons of things you can do with this fun shot.

"live" shot

As I continued to admire these photographs I can't help but wonder what other great shots will come about this year. I'm rea;lly loving all of these feel this new wave of shots. Photography is moving in a new direction, a very naturally lively direction and I love it. The "typical" stand and shoot sessions seems to be behind us, thank goodness.  No offence those make great yearbook pictures but I crave shots where life happens.

I have a few ideas for my very own live shots that will be included into my photoalbum.  I want a partner in crime shot where gentleman give the lady a boost over a wall or fence.  Don't worry we won't break any laws maybe just broken falls and silly smiles. I will also include a pillow fight scene. Pretty self explanatory, but I do want to capture the fun, laughter and the feather spills. Ooh that sounds messy and awesome! I will keep you posted on those pictures coming soon. How about you, Do you have any fun ideas for fun photos. Feel free to share them below, I would love to hear your great ideas.

Be inspired to inspire . . . Love Cisne
